Addition and Subtraction {Give-Away}

I have created two new addition and subtraction packets.  One packet is addition and subtraction within 5.  The other packet is addition and subtraction within 10.

I am very excited about these packets.  They are more "abstract" than basic addition and subtraction.  Students have to use higher order thinking skills to complete some of the worksheets.  It provides a challenge for students who need it but also helps to reinforce basic addition and subtraction facts at the same time.

Students will be filling in the missing number, deciding if equations are true or false, figuring out if an equation is addition or subtraction, using drawings or stickers to represent problems, and showing fluency through timed tests.  A few samples are shown below.

I can not wait to use these with my kids!  I would love for you to be able to use them with your kids as well!  The first 3 people to comment below with an e-mail address will receive my bundle packet  - which is both packets for free! That is over 70 different worksheets, assessments, and activities that you can use in your classroom!

Have a grrreat day!
